Naval Engineering And Architectural Projects

Inò Group’s most precious asset is its highly qualified staff of engineers and architects able to develop very complex Naval Engineering and Architectural Projects.

Though from diverse backgrounds they share a passion for the design of motor yachts, evident in the unparalleled quality of their work. Our reputation as one of the most innovative and technically competent studios in the exploitation of space in naval architecture is proof of this.

This is true thanks to our ability to track the entire creative process, with optimal interaction between architectural design components and structural and engineering design; we can thus optimize the structure of boats and make the most effective use of available spaces.

Our remarkable ability to visualize the ‘fully finished’ boat in its entirety right from the very first sketches allows us to optimize the construction process with ease.

Thanks to the flexibility of our company structure, our engineers work in partnership with shipyards as a single team. This allows us to develop complete large-scale projects for mega-yachts. Nor do we forget to assist our clients as if we were an extension of the work carried out by their internal staff, finishing engineering work on non-complex parts

The naval design studio was born in Rome out of a long Inno family tradition in the boat building sector from the 1950s onwards, as a shipyard specializing in the construction of wooden boats.

As a small child during the 1960s, Alessandro Inno used to play with building small wooden prototypes, affectionately helped by his father Umberto who ran the Chris-Craft of America shipyard in Rome, the first to build production fibreglass boats in Italy The combination of this family craftworking and industrial tradition with engineering know-how, architectural culture expressed as interior and exterior design, and over twenty years of experience consolidated at Italy’s largest custom shipyards are the key to the winning mix distinguishing the career of Naval Architect Alessandro Inno.

Alessandro Inno acquired his professional experience as a production and design supervisor and manager at some of Italy’s most important shipyards, including Cantieri Navali del Golfo and Italcraft. He gathered around him a multi-talented team working as a single creative mind, a true pool of resources from varied cultural backgrounds.
