Combining advanced technology and a large range of models makes Giant Mountain Bikes one of the leading bike manufacturers around the world. Not only are these bikes made for top class performance, but there are designs for the humblest biker. Their range of kids bikes suit every level of ability.
Giant offer two ranges of children’s bikes. One range is designed for little children who have never ridden before. For children that have never ridden a bike before, there is a range for them. The second are for the more experienced young riders who use their bike for fun and freedom. Let’s take a look at both.
First Bike
There are three bikes for first time riders. The L’il Giant is a tricycle that comes in blue, red, pink or silver and safety is key. The training wheels help with balance and there is also a long pole that parents can hold onto to stop the bike from running away with your little one on it. The PUDD’N range are bikes for little girls with two models to choose from. On the regular sized bike there are removable training wheels, 16” wheels and an adorable basket. The junior version has smaller wheels at 12” and stabilisers. Animator is the final model in the first time riders range. This is the boy’s version of PUDD’N and is painted in much more masculine colours and the basket has been removed. Again, the Animator bike comes in a Junior and original size to accommodate children of all ages.
Sport Bikes
For children and teenagers who have some experience of riding a bike, Giant offers two different models, MTX and Taffy. The MTX comes in a 125 and 225 series with the 125 having 20” wheels and 6 speed gears. 24” wheels and 18 speed gears are used on the 225. The frame on both bikes is made from Alux aluminium technology and feature a suspension fork. Taffy is the female version of the MTX bike. The 125 has smaller wheels and fewer gears than the 225.
Giant make some of the best bikes on the market and the quality that they put into every design is reflected in the quality of your performance. Your child will enjoy riding their bike and you will be happy that it is keeping them fit.
